Kick Start Training Camp with Will Clarke and Matt Bottrill

6th February - 12th February 2026
Club La Santa, Will and Matt are teaming up to provide a structured training week aimed at triathletes working towards various distances. This provides the perfect springboard for their 2026 season.
During your stay at Club La Santa, training sessions will be based around our amazing sports facilities. Swim sessions in one of our 50-meter pools, quiet roads and the amazing landscapes for all rides. Various run sessions using our newly renovated track or off-road trails.
The sessions are perfect for athletes from intermediate to experienced levels and the aim is to work with each person individually to ensure that they get the correct advice and training.
The camp would not be suitable for absolute beginners who may be used to a lower level of exercise, but athletes from single sports who have a few years endurance experience will find it manageable and great fun.

Meet the Instructor - Matt Bottrill
Matt Bottrill – Winner of multiple National Championships, holder of competition records and many more accolades to his name Matt has focused the last year on developing MBPC and beginning to coach some of the worlds top athletes on a range of stages.
As part of this Matt transitioned from the world of Time Trialling into Triathlon in 2017 and progressed to multiple Age group and Overall wins. This learning process has enabled MBPC to transform the cycling within many athletes in Triathlon.
Now coaching some of the best Triathletes in the world, including the likes of Tim Don, Will Clarke, Rachel Joyce and Susie Cheetham

Meet the Instructor - Will Clarke
Will Clarke is part of a very small exclusive group of athletes you can count on one hand who have competed in all of the World’s most prestigious Triathlon events namely: The Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, ITU World Championships, ITU European Championships, Ironman World 70.3 Championships and Ironman World Championships. His career spanned 17 professional seasons and 20 years in total
Riot Racing Club Founder and Head Coach Will has been coaching athletes for 9 years with his biggest protege Ruth Astle winning Ironman Hawaii Overall Age Group in 2020 with the 2nd fastest time in history, since turning Professional in her own right.
“I am a big believer that if you want to successfully coach athletes you have to have been there yourself. You have to have grabbed all those experiences with your own hands and learnt from your own harsh lessons. You have to know what it’s like to train and compete in Triathlon at a high level but also know what it’s like to live like an athlete whilst keeping the rest of your life in balance.”
The price is 180€, including all activities in the programme, a t-shirt, a Maurten Nutrition pack (only available for pre-signups) and the celebratory dinner.
