What is NutriBalance?

NutriBalance is a personalised nutrition consultation service that provides individualised dietary guidance for people of all fitness levels and health goals. Unlike one size fits all diet plans, NutriBalance focuses on understanding each client’s unique lifestyle, including factors like sleep, stress, activity levels, and personal objectives.

“It’s not just all about food. I do ask what the client would eat in a normal day and how active they are, but also taking into account things like sleep and stress, because they can all impact our diet on what we eat and how we feel. It’s very much a process of asking the client a lot of questions, trying to get to know them, and finding out what recommendations are going to be the best for them.” – Emma Gibbins

Challenging Myths and Misconceptions About Nutrition

  • There are many confusing misconceptions about health and wellbeing, NutriBalance offers expert guidance rooted in science and practical advice.
  • It is important to take a balanced approach to nutrition, avoiding black-and-white thinking about “good” and “bad” foods.
  • The goal is to help clients achieve a balanced life and diet, avoiding extreme measures and maintaining a realistic approach to nutrition.

Why professional nutrition advice matters

Emma acknowledges the difficulty of changing long-held beliefs about nutrition and the importance of meeting clients where they are. Some clients may be resistant to change, and it is important to make small, manageable changes rather than overwhelming them with too much information. The goal is to help clients develop the skills to navigate their own nutrition independently, rather than relying on strict diet plans.
