Surrounding Club La Santa you will find a variety of on road and off road running routes of distances from 2km upto 21km. Every week we arrange a large range of social runs and competitions with something for everyone.
Club La Santa has 3 50m outdoor pools.
It is divided in 8 lanes.
Instructions are available for both children and adults.
Lanzarote is well renowned for its great variety of biking routes both on and off road. Wherever you go you will be rewarded with stunning views of both the dramatic volcanic landscape and beautiful ocean with magnificent towering cliffs.
Womens only Triathlon Camp with Tanja Slater & Team23 Jan 2015
This camp is a great opportunity to kick start your winter training (or avoid the European winter weather!) ready for the 2014 race season or even introduce you to the sport in a warm climate and magnificent surroundings. You may even be inspired to come back to Lanzarote to race the Volcano Triathlon in the Spring of 2014. During the week you will be coached in all disciplines, meet new people, have lots of fun and laughs, gain experience and maybe even compete in your first ever short distance triathlon.
The camp caters for all ages and abilities from novice to elite, including sprint and olympic distance athletes looking to build their base training, learn more about the sport and gain experience for triathlon races. The number of participants is limited to 40, to enable more individual attention in all four disciplines (swim, bike, run & transition).
The training will take place in many parts of the beautiful island of Lanzarote. Swims will take place in the 50m Olympic pool,the sea and the Club La Santa lagoon (a confined area of sea). The runs will be both on and off road around the complex as well as on the athletics track. The bike rides will take you to the most beautiful parts of the island on newly tarmacked surfaces.
Remember to bring your swim equipment and wet suit; bring your own bike, bike shoes and helmet if possible, if not you can rent bikes for the week (subject to availability) but remember to bring pedals and a helmet (possibly your saddle as this is so specific especially for women).
Camp Registration and travel arrangements
Pre-registration is required as we have a limited number of participants. The price for the Camp is 180 Euros for a week. The price includes all seminars, training and coaching, service car on the long ride, dinner and a special event t-shirt. The full payment for the camp will take place in the welcome meeting upon arrival in Club La Santa.

Please note that if you want to rent a Club La Santa bike rather than taking your own, you will have to arrange this separately with Club La Santa UK prior to departure. The price for a bike is 98 € per week or 25 € per day for a minimum of 3 consecutive days. It is advisable to book these bikes at time of booking and will be subject to availability
Tanja Slater is a former GB Elite Professional Triathlete and Professional Cyclist. Tanja has used Club La Santa as a training venue for 8 years and has been an integral part of triathlon training camps held here, recently working full time alongside Phil Price leading triathlon, duathlon, running, swimming and bike training camps. Tanja started her sporting career as an age group triathlete in 2000 and finished 2nd in the Age Group World Championships in 2001, progressing onto the World Class programme finishing 8th in the 2003 European Elite Championships. Due to a virus she was forced to retire from triathlon and became a professional cyclist in 2006. She has represented Great Britain in two World Cycling Championships and won a stage in the Ladies Tour de France 2007. She has now re-discovered her love of triathlon and wants to help others improve by passing on what she has learned over the years.
