Club La Santa will undertake improvements and renovations to the resort from time to time throughout the year.

Noise will be kept to a minimum and generally operates during working hours 8am till 4pm.

NEW – REFORMER PILATES & SQUASH COURTS

Based on guest demand and a review of the current interest in our sports and fitness offering, it has been decided to develop a new Reformer Studio at Club La Santa.

The new studio will be created in the space currently occupied by Squash Courts 3 and 4, which will therefore close for renovation from 23 November

NEW MAIN ENTRANCE, SUPERMARKET AND RENOVATION OF TOWERS

From 12th April 2026 until early February 2028, Club La Santa will undergo exciting construction of a new administration building at the stadium gate. This new building will become the main entrance to Club La Santa and will house key departments, including:
Reception, Sports Booking, Groups and Conferences, Reservations, Administration, IT, Marketing, Events, and Sports.

As part of these improvements, a new supermarket will also be built, and five towers in the original part of Club La Santa –Towers 1, 3, 50, 51, and 52– will be renovated and upgraded to Comfort apartments. This includes full refurbishment of staircases and apartments.

Renovation timeline

12th April – 14th December, 2026: Tower-by-tower refurbishment of all apartments in Towers 1, 3, 50, 51 and 52 until 30th August.
4th January 2027 – February 2028: Demolition of the Timeshare office at the stadium gate, followed by construction of the new building and supermarket.

These upgrades are designed to enhance the overall experience at Club La Santa and create a more cohesive and welcoming environment. While construction may cause occasional noise in affected areas, we assure you we will do our best to minimize any inconvenience.

NEW MOTOR SKILLS HALL AND CLIMBING WALL IN THE NORTH HALL

From mid-October 2026 to 1 May 2027, the North Hall will undergo an exciting transformation. The new hall will offer:

A sports hall with four badminton courts, facilities for volleyball, 3v3 floorball, and climbing.
A new motor skills hall for children aged six years and up.

Phase 1: Mid-October 2026 to mid-February 2027
A dividing wall will be built to separate the two halls, along with the climbing wall. During this time, badminton, handball and other activities normally held in the North Hall will move to the South Hall.

Phase 2: Mid-February 2027 to 1 May 2027
Construction of the new motor skills hall. During this phase, badminton will be available in one half of the North Hall as well as in the South Hall.

NEW PLAYGROUND

Updated 11th August, 2026

From February to May 2027, the playground next to the Pool Bar will be upgraded. During the construction, the playground by the children’s pool, the trampoline area, and the outdoor Play Time area remain available and a variety of children’s toys and games will be offered via Sports Booking.

Once complete, the new Pool Bar area will feature a brand-new playground for our younger guests.

RENOVATION OF THE POOL BAR AND GREEN BAR

The Pool Bar and Green Bar are expected to reopen on 1 April 2027. While the final phase will take longer than planned, our priority remains delivering a lasting improvement to the resort experience, done to the highest standard.

This project will enhance the area’s relaxing atmosphere, ideal for socialising, while modernising and improving the facilities of this iconic part of Club La Santa. The new Pool Bar will feature a larger kitchen, more space, and a sustainable design, as we’re replacing all gas equipment with electric, a step towards making Club La Santa an even greener and more energy-efficient resort. And much more to be further announced!

During this period:

Both bars will be closed.
Construction noise may be noticeable in the surrounding area, with work taking place from Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 18:00.
The children’s playground is partly open but may be closed at times during the renovation. Additional children’s activities are available in the children’s pool area.
The Dive Centre will temporarily close from 31 August 2026 for approximately four months. We’re exploring alternative snorkelling experiences for guests during this period and will share further details as soon as they are confirmed. Diving will continue to offer snorkelling safaris from 31 August throughout the four-month closure of the Dive Centre. Their temporary office will be located in a tent next to the Wellness Centre, by the Leisure Pool from this Saturday 29/08.

Snorkelling safaris can be booked at their temporary office or via their usual contact details, during their regular opening hours.

Diving classes will not be available during the four-month closure.

TEMPORARY POOL BAR

While the renovation is underway, a temporary Pool Bar and lounge area will be set up next to The Lawn and Restaurant Atlántico. Guests can enjoy an all-day menu and refreshments here, with great views of the leisure pool and the Atlantic Ocean. All other restaurants will remain open and ready to welcome you throughout your stay at Club La Santa.

Completed renovation work at Club La Santa:

Spa & Wellness (4th August 2026)
The Spa reopened 4th of August 2026. New addition: Wellness Contrast Therapy area is already open. It offers a private wellness experience with a sauna and cold-water plunge pools, plus beautiful lagoon views. We’ve already shared a short video, and a photoshoot is planned soon to promote it further. Bookings are made through the Club La Santa App, with payment at Wellness reception.

Padel Courts ( April 2026)
All the padel courts have been refurbished. The fencing and sockets of the singles courts have been repaired, whilst the doubles courts have been upgraded with new, improved artificial turf.

The Pitch (May – June 2025)
We’ve completed a full upgrade of our football pitch, replacing the natural grass with cutting-edge, environmentally friendly artificial turf. This new surface delivers a consistently high-quality playing experience year-round, with no interruptions for maintenance or weather-related closures.

The renovation supports Club La Santa’s commitment to sustainability, removing the need for water, fertilisers, or intensive upkeep. The pitch is now a more reliable and versatile space for training and matches, without compromising on performance or comfort.

From 1 July 2026, Club La Santa will no longer offer pole vault, javelin, or
steeplechase jumping. Steel studs are not allowed. Football activities have returned to the main pitch, with the five-a-side court also available for play.

Club La Santa now hosts the world’s first fully equipped outdoor HYROX Gym, located in the Functional Zone at the stadium. It is the ultimate fitness race for everyone, combining running and functional workouts. Come experience the next level of fitness at our state-of-the-art facility!

Single Padel Court (Febuaury 2024)

Now you have even more opportunities to practice padel during your holiday. We have opened 4 new single padel courts that are half the size of a traditional Padel court. They are made with Hydro Restore Aluminium and its texturized fibre provides a superior grip and a consistent bounce.

3×3 Basketball Court (December 2023)

We have transformed our basketball court into a 3×3 court with an improved playing surface. The half-court setup makes it a fast-paced and dynamic game. A perfect spot if you’re a seasoned player or you just want to have some fun in the sun.

Playground in front of play time (November 2023)

We have created a new fantastic Playground for small kids in front of Play Time. The playground offers kids a perfect opportunity to move around, crawl through tunnels, play on trampolines and much more.

Pickleball (October 2023)

Our newest addition to the racket sports is pickleball, a low impact, easy-to-learn sport which combines elements from tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It is played on a smaller court with paddles and works both as a singles and doubles game. You can play pickleball on one of our four pickleball courts on the multicourt (Tennis court 8) or on our indoor badminton courts with a 0.9m lowered net.

Wellness Centre (November 2022)

To offer you the most welcoming experience, the entrance of the Wellness Centre has been improved and is now more organic and exclusive. Also, the outdoor terrace has been upgraded with an exceptional spa and chillout area.

South Pools (February 2022)

Due to issues in the original construction, we have renovated our two South Pools.

Sports Café (November 2021)

The Sports Café has been given a complete makeover and now welcomes our guests with a fresh and modern look.

Restaurant Atlántico (April 2021)

The buffet restaurant Atlántico has been 100% refurbished and improved. You can now look forward to visiting a whole new, bright and spacious restaurant with a modern and welcoming design.

La Rambla (October 2020)

We have designed a new garden landscape between the Stadium and apartments.

New Tennis Centre Court (October 2020)

We have finalized the renovation of our new tennis centre court. Three of our tennis courts have been converted into a new, unique centre court with spectator seats on both sides. The court has been built lower in the ground for protection from the wind. This means that we will have 8 exclusive tennis courts available with Decoturf base, the official surface of the US Open. We have also built solid walls on all other courts to better protect them from the wind.

New Outdoor CrossFit Area (October 2020)

The CrossFit area has moved to behind tennis court 8 in the area just before entering the Volcano. It has doubled in size and a storeroom and special floor have been installed. The new area gives space for social distancing during classes and daily use.

New Athletics Track (September 2020)

We are proud to announce that we have finished the renovation of our new athletics track. The new surface is called Conica CONIPUR Vmax, a highly technical, very sophisticated running surface. The track has been divided into training and leisure lanes. This means athletic groups and serious individual athletes won´t be disturbed by other runners, as they have a wide outer lane with a dedicated surface for leisure running. Our new track will also be equipped with Polytan SmarTracks, making it possible to track your motion in relation to the running track by wearing a sensor. This will be incorporated into the two outer 110m sprint lanes, the inside lane of the full track, and the 45m runway for triple- and long jump. The data will be available in real-time on computers or smartphones connected to the internet. Multiple groups can use the technology at the same time. Individual guests are also able to use this feature.

Extra Padel Tennis Court (August 2020)

We have finalized the building of an additional padel tennis court, which means that we now have a total of 6 courts.

Renewed Tennis Court 8 with SMASH-BACK wall (July 2020)

Exclusive tennis court number 8 (previously court 10), has undergone a complete refurbishment and it is now surrounded by solid walls on three sides for better wind protection. The court is equipped with a 14-metre unique SMASH-BACK tennis wall as well as line indications for training on the opposite straight concrete wall. The unique curve geometry means you can train almost as if you were training with a real opponent.

The shape of this practice wall was created in collaboration with tennis professionals and the ball bounces realistically, similar to the return from an opponent.

New Inner Coating for the Leisure Pool (July 2020)

The Leisure Pool has received a new inner coating.

Club La Santa merchandise shop (July 2020)

The Club La Santa merchandise shop has been completely refurbished with a clean, modern look.

Restaurants (July 2020)

In our exclusive Restaurant El Lago, a new floor has been laid to upgrade the interior design. The flooring in our buffet restaurant, Atlantico, has also been partially replaced. All restaurants have been prepared for new COVID-19 measures.

Accommodations (July 2020)

All apartments and suites have been painted and all smaller repairs have been completed.

Sports Booking (July 2020)

Sports Booking has moved to its original position in tower 28, next to Restaurant Atlantico and facing the leisure pool. The old Sports Booking building at the stadium has been removed.

The Lawn (July 2020)

The Lawn is equipped with new artificial grass that has more sand, making it more suitable for twists and turns while dancing.

Avenida Krogager (July 2020)

Tinajo townhall has renovated all lights on Avenida Krogager towards La Santa Village.

Our Sports Booking App has been updated with new features and a large information section.

Wellness Centre (January 2020)

We are proud to open an upgraded version of the Wellness Centre. We have a new main entrance from the leisure pool, accessible for disabled people. Inside there is a new, large unisex sauna, massage showers, ice fountain and steam bath with illuminated star ceiling. From the inside, you can access our new open air relax area and we have several new and interesting treatments. The interior design has been kept to a more natural colour tone, to give the impression of sustainability and stability. A completely new treatment we now offer is CryoSpace®, a full body ice box to cool you down to -196 degrees for a maximum of 3 minutes. This treatment has many positive effects on the body and mind including accelerating the recovery and regeneration process, increasing physical and mental performance, reducing the risk of injury, improving mood and sleep quality, and boosting energy levels.
