Kickboxing, popular with celebrities and sports people alike, can be a fun way to get fit, providing an allover body tone and a great cardiovascular fitness effect. However if you would like to join this special course, it is advisable that you have some experience of martial arts in order to get the most out of it. The only restriction is the minimum age, which is 16 years old. Of course it’s a plus if you are in a good shape as well, as the classes can be quite hard at times. All you need to bring is a pair of bag or boxing gloves and sparring equipment if you have any. We will provide you with hand wraps.
Master Cris Janson-Piers BNMA hons. National Coach to Great Britain and Kerry-Louise WFKKO Hons. 7 times World Champion will teach and supervise the lessons, which will be a variety of Kickboxing drills and training. Some lessons will provide technical skills, where others may push you a little harder. Kerry-Louise Norbury is here to show that women cannot only enjoy what seems to be a man’s sport but they can also excel! A self defence section will also allow you to try out what you have learned and involve kickboxing techniques as well.
