29th January – 4th February 2016
For the fifth year Club La Santa and SwimForTri have put together this Open Water Swim camp for you. The Camp is aimed at beginners and intermediate level Triathletes/Open-water swimmers looking to find clear, concise and helpful coaching towards faster swimming in Open water. This camp will provide the perfect introduction to swimming faster and more confidently in Open water.
This is the camp to understand how to gain confidence in Open-water, help you swim just the race course distance (many unnecessarily add 100s of metres), teach you how often you should sight, breathe etc. OW FC technique (it can differ from pool swimming) and wetsuit fitting skills. Race tactics will be covered and we can help Triathletes and those just racing Openwater.
The sessions are perfect for competitors from beginner to intermediate levels and the aim is to mix practical workouts with talks, video and workshops. Athletes who have a few years endurance experience will find it manageable and entertaining. Please remember your swim equipment such as a pool buoy, kickboard, flippers and a wetsuit.
Comment from a former guest:
I got back late last night from Dan’s course and I just wanted to tell you that it was a superb course. I gained so much from it and feel much stronger in my swimming so I’m thrilled with that. The course was amazing. Dan is phenomenal! Sue Atkinson September 2013
