Running Week at Club La Santa

Club La Santa are happy to announce the return of our running week. Come join our coaches for a week filled with training, education and sore legs..

Provisional Program

Intro meeting and break down of weeks program
Short run with mobility and stretching – 45mins
Evening off road sunset run – 60-70 mins

Morning fasted run with Green team 5, 4 or 3km at set paces
Agua jogging session – Alternative workout/ Injury prevention – 30mins
Run technique and strength workout at the stadium – 60 mins

Pace session on the track. Specific session built around your race or goal distance.
Evening recovery run – 30 – 40 min

Trip to La Graciosa 12-18km off road loop of the Island followed by a picnic lunch and cool off in the sea (optional)
Evening swim for recovery – North Pool – 30 mins

Morning fasted run with Green team 5, 4 or 3km at set paces
Strength and core conditioning.
Hill session – 30-45mins. Optional session for building specific run strength and speed.

Dinner at El Lago


Ben Price

is a former national junior triathlon champion and has competed at Ironman as a pro during his twenty years of racing. Since his professional days he has been involved in the coaching of swimming, biking and running at Club la Santa and other venues.
