Challenge week - Sunny 13Km Ridge Run
Posted: Tuesday November 29, 2011
Warm conditions for the second stage of the Int. Running Challenge.
Most participants who join the Int. Running Challenge do so more to enjoy the warm weather conditions than to actually win a race… and they have not been disappointed! The sun shone on the Breakfast race on Saturday, the 10K Road Race yesterday and again this morning for the 13K Ridge Run.
The 13K ridge run is a challenging course, over hilly terrain and a mix of on and off road trails, but athletes are rewarded with the most beautiful views.
No changes in the top 2 women compared to yesterday… but there is a new leader in the men’s race, as the 10K winner chose not to race the full Challenge.
