Congratulations to Jensen Button from Club La Santa

Over the years Jensen Button has become a regular at Club La Santa in Lanzarote as part of his training regime.

He’s not the only Formula One driver to do so, Mark Webber, has also used the resort to get over his injury.

Recently, Jensen told The Times:

“I go to Lanzarote to train at Club La Santa, which is used by Olympic athletes because it’s warm all year round. They do mini-triathlons there, so I got into doing it.”

A hugely popular figure at Club La Santa and it’s why we send our regards and congratulations following the fantastic win over the weekend at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.

The victory for Jensen and his Brawn team is even more remarkable as it was only a few months ago that their future was in doubt.

With Honda pulling out of F1, it was a buy-out by Ross Brawn which secured both the jobs of the mechanics, and drivers Jensen and Rubens Barrichello.
