63 Club La Santa holidays! Is it a record?

How about this for a regular customer, Gunner Scheel from Denmark has stayed at Club La Santa 63 times.

The first time he was here was in 1983, when we only had 2 tennis courts. Back then he booked the holiday to train with the athletic team he belonged to. And he kept coming back, although then it was with his wife Winnie, who’s managed to notch up 53 visits.

They say they love Lanzarote so much because of the landscape and the facilities here. Of course, there’s also the weather:

“The weather conditions in Lanzarote let you practice any kind of outdoor activity during the whole year, and is not as cold as in Denmark,” he laughed.

On their first few visits, Gunner and Winnie brought their children along and now as the family continues to grow, Club La Santa has passed down onto the third generation:

“Sometimes the whole family comes together: grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren.“
 
Asking about what he thinks makes Club La Santa so special, Gunner’s answer is very clear:

“Relax, enjoy, sports and very good people”
