5-a-side pitch renovation

We are putting a new Astroturf surface on the 5-a-side football pitches this autumn, which will mean they are out of action for a few weeks.

The new surface means that the pitches will also be suitable for Field Hockey, which we’re aiming to introduce in November. We’ll have all the necessary equipment ready for hire then.

The renovation is expected to be completed by mid-October.

All regular classes (aerobic, fitball, yoga, step, etc.) will be moved to the Lawn and all football activities will be moved to the football pitch at the stadium.

Therefore please note that the booking situation on the Lawn is very limited.

The plan is to put the same new surface on the Lawn later this year, we’ll confirm the date as soon as we know.
