Surrounding Club La Santa you will find a variety of on road and off road running routes of distances from 2km upto 21km. Every week we arrange a large range of social runs and competitions with something for everyone.
Club La Santa has 3 50m outdoor pools.
It is divided in 8 lanes.
Instructions are available for both children and adults.
Lanzarote is well renowned for its great variety of biking routes both on and off road. Wherever you go you will be rewarded with stunning views of both the dramatic volcanic landscape and beautiful ocean with magnificent towering cliffs.
Marathon Running Camp with Stephan Vuckovic, Phil Price & Team10 Jan 2014 to 16 Jan 2014
Marathon and distance running are ever popular amongst our guests, and this camp gives you the opportunity to sample the challenging terrain of the volcanic island of Lanzarote.
The undulating terrain and sandy trails will be good training for athletes competing in one of the spring or summer marathons now available or any other distance race. It could also be used for those athletes looking for the endurance phase of their training for shorter distance races.
Athletes able to run up to a 4:15 marathon will be catered for, with experienced coaches and athletes looking after the group. There will be a variety of runs, one of which will be on the small nearby island of La Graciosa. Additionally, there will be some technical work, track sessions and optional races. There will also be lectures and at the end of the week, we will have a dinner in the restaurant, La Casa, where companions can join us by paying 26€ for a 3 course meal and a half bottle of wine. As well as the running we will be offering you some alternative methods of improving your fitness and technique on land and in the pool. Participants must come prepared for the heat and terrain with good shoes, a hat, sun cream and water bottle carrier.
Camp Registration and travel arrangements
The camp is restricted to guests staying at Club La Santa during the event. Pre-registration is required as we have a limited number of participants.The price for the week is 130 Euros including all seminars/lectures, training and coaching, excursion to La Graciosa, dinner in the restaurant “La Casa” and a t-shirt. The full payment for the camp will take place in the welcome meeting upon arrival in Club La Santa.

Stephan Vuckovic won a silver medal at the Olympics in 2000 in Sydney in triathlon. Since 2005 he has been competing in long distance and his best results are 1st in the Ironman Florida in 2007, 2nd in the Ironman Canada in 2005, 3rd in Ironman Lanzarote in 2007 and 10th in Hawaii in 2005, earning the title ‘The best rookie of the year’.
Phil Price is head coach at Club La Santa and has been coaching for nearly 30 years in Triathlon, Athletics, and Cycling. Ex. Welsh Triathlon Coach and Manager, and former Welsh Veteran 5 km track Champ, Phil has a wealth of experience and local knowledge that he is only too happy to share.
Ben Price is a former national junior triathlon champion and has competed at Ironman as a pro during his twenty years of racing. Since his professional days he has been involved in the coaching of swimming, biking and running at Club la Santa and other venues.
