NEW! Openwater Swim Camp with Dan Bullock
26 Jan 2012 to 02 Feb 2012
Club La Santa has now put together an Open-water Swim Camp, new for 2012.
The Camp is aimed at beginner and intermediate level triathletes and open water swimmers looking to find clear, concise and helpful coaching towards faster swimming in open water, with more confidence.
This is the camp to start developing skills to help you swim just the race course distance without straying off the course (why add distance?!). During the camp you will learn how often you personally should sight, about breathing patterns, front crawl technique (this can differ from pool swimming) and wetsuit fitting skills. Race tactics will be covered to help both triathletes and those racing in open water competitions.
The sessions are perfect for competitors from beginner to intermediate levels and the aim is to mix practical workouts with talks and workshops. Athletes who have a few years endurance experience will find it manageable and fun.
Please remember your swim equipment such a pool buoy, kickboard, flippers and a wetsuit.

Camp registration and travel arrangements
The camp is restricted to guests staying at Club La Santa during the event. Pre-registration is required as we have limited spaces, and the course fee is payable at time of booking.
The price for the week is £140 including all seminars/lectures, training and coaching, dinner in Club La Santa Atlantico restaurant and a special event t-shirt.
For only £26 per person, companions can join us for the dinner which consists of a 3 course meal and a ½ bottle of house wine.
Club La Santa reserves the right to cancel or change the event if under subscribed.
