ARRIVAL
All passports (16 years and over) should be collected before arrival at Club La Santa to facilitate check-in. The passports have to be picked up by each individual guest the following day from Reception. Every guest is asked to sign a police registration document when picking up their passport.
The Group’s Hotel Voucher should be handed in during your check-in.
Any changes that need to be done to the room list provided by the Groups Department should be done during the check-in or as soon as possible afterwards.
The Group leader will be responsible for handling their Group’s check-in and they will receive all the keys.
A contact number (mobile) must be given to the Groups Department and Reception.
Only the Group leader should be in contact with the Groups Department to make reservations and so on. It should not be individual Group members.
BOOKING SPORTS FACILITITES
To avoid disappointment, all activities that the Group wishes to do during their stay at Club La Santa (or as many as possible) should be pre-booked through the agency (0161 703 5815), as when they are at Club La Santa that activity may be fully booked.
When at Club La Santa all bookings, cancellations or questions concerning bookings should ONLY be done through the Groups Department, NOT through the Sports Booking Office as they are not authorised to book Group activities.
The 10 minutes rule applies to Groups as well as individual guests – if you have booked facilities and do not turn up on time, other guests are entitled to use that facility.
If your Group has the Body Bike Room booked, then you must go to the Sports Booking Office to pay and sign for the use of the room and shoes. If you do not present the receipt given by Sports Booking in the Fitness Centre (where the Body Bike Room is situated) then you will not be permitted the use of the room even if you have it booked.
If you have booked the hall for handball, your Group is responsible for returning the hall to its original state (six badminton courts with their nets).
If you need to make use of the music system on the 5-a-side pitch or Lawn, we must be informed beforehand as you need to sign a contract and be shown how to use the system by a member of the Green Team before you can have the key. Please note that Sports Booking will ask you to hand in your passport as a deposit for the key.
TOKENS
A token is a small plastic voucher that allows you to borrow sports equipment for free – one token is handed out per person.
The Group leader is responsible for receiving and returning all tokens for all the members of the Group.
The Group leader can come to Sports Booking when they arrive to confirm that they would like the tokens. They will be told when these can be picked up – they will have to hand in their passport as a deposit to receive them.
It is important that the Group leader checks that they have received the correct number of tokens when they get them in the Sports Booking Office. The Group leader is responsible for informing the Group members about the token system. Should you lose one or more of the tokens while staying at Club La Santa, you will have to pay 20€ per token to receive a new one or to reclaim your deposit enabling you to travel home again. The Group leader must return all tokens for all the members to receive back the deposit.
RESPONSIBILITY
It is important to note that when you borrow or rent equipment at Club La Santa you are responsible for that equipment from when you receive it until it is returned to the Sports Booking Office, Bike Centre or Wind Surf Station. Should you damage the equipment, or should it be stolen while in your possession, Club La Santa has the right to seek compensation accordingly.
EQUIPMENT
The equipment should be returned to the Sports Booking Office immediately after use. You cannot keep equipment for several days.
If a Group needs specific equipment they can inform the Groups Department and they will be advised if it is possible to borrow it from the Sports Booking Office. The Group leader can then collect it (you must leave a token in exchange for the equipment) and bring it back as soon as they have finished with it.
BIKES
Group bikes can be booked in advance. A Group can book either 4 hours in the morning or 4 hours in the afternoon. We have currently 10 road bikes and 10 MTB available for Groups. If the Group reserves bikes, the Group leader has to be present in the Bike Centre to pick them up. They will have to sign a contract, and help hand them out to members of the Group.
Group members cannot come individually to pick up the bikes.
As with all other borrowed equipment, you are responsible for the bike from the moment you borrow it until it is returned to the Bike Centre. The bike must never be left unattended or unlocked. In case of loss of a bike, you will be charged 600 Euros.
PLUS INSTRUCTION BOOKINGS
PLUS instruction is a private lesson for individuals or a Group with members of the Green Team as instructors, which the individual or the Group has to pay for. If a Group wants to book PLUS instruction, this can only be done through the Groups Department between 08h00 and 16h00 (08h00-1700 Fridays).
If the Group has booked and confirmed any PLUS instruction with the Green Team, payment has to be made in Sports Booking the day before instruction at the latest. A cancellation fee of 50% of the price will have to be paid if the instruction is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
BEHAVIOUR AT CLS
Silence should be maintained between 24:00 and 07:00, this includes in and around the apartment area.
Parties and gatherings should not be held in the apartments as they are not suitable for this sort of use, if any gatherings are to be held then they should be in the conference area or in the beach area. (Even so, this does not mean that Groups are allowed to have parties in these areas.)
The apartments should be kept tidy so that the cleaning department is able to do their job properly. Untidy and messy apartments cannot be cleaned normally and will be given an extra charge. (The Group leader should check that the rooms are in an appropriate condition the evening before departure to avoid any unpleasant surprises during check out).
The Group is responsible for any damage caused to Club La Santa property by any of the Group members (in and out of the apartment).
Group leaders should control their Group at all times, especially during the evening as the Group is their responsibility.
Spanish law stipulates that the purchase and consumption of spirits and tobacco by under 18 years olds is strictly prohibited as well as sale, provision or grant of such, with a possible sanction of between 601 to 10,000 Euros for breach of law.
If your Group members have been spoken to by the security guards then they must show the same respect as they would show the police as they are considered as such in Spain.
EXCURSIONS/AIRPORT TRANSFER
If possible it is best to try to organise any excursions before arriving to Club La Santa.

We have detailed information available for each excursion.
We can also tailor excursions according to the Group’s wishes, organising meals at local restaurants or any other ideas the Group may suggest.
It is very important that if your Group has an excursion booked, payment of this should be done at least the day before the excursion, before 15h00 at the Guide’s Department, otherwise the bus and excursion will not be confirmed.
With regards to Group airport transfers, please make sure to advise the agency if you bring special luggage, as bikes, wheel chairs, etc.

ATLANTICO RESTAURANT
If your Group would like to reserve tables, then they must be pre booked. If your Group has booked tables, we kindly ask you to keep to these times and tables.
Timetable for Groups:
Breakfast is served between 0730-1030 summer and winter.
Lunch is served between 1300-1400 summer and winter. Groups can also order lunch packages. Please inform Groups Department at least 24 hours beforehand.
Dinner
1st sitting: 18.30-20.00 winter 19.00-20.15 summer
2nd sitting: 20.00-21.30 winter 20.15-22.00 summer
If your Group would like to pay restaurant extras at the end of their stay, we recommend that the Group leader has an internal credit card (obtainable from Reception without obligation to leave a deposit).
Groups who would like to have water included in their meals can pay a supplement directly to the resort. The Atlántico will serve 1,5l bottles of water for every 4 Group members sitting together. It’s a cost of 0,75€ for half board and 1,50€ for full board per person.
The Groups Department will put a stamp on the meal tickets indicating that water is included.
Groups who would like to choose between a variety of beverages can purchase 2€ drinks tickets directly at the Groups Department. You can choose one of the following drinks in Atlántico :
Small beer (25cl)
Small refreshment (25cl)
Water (50cl)
Glass of wine (12cl)
Small juice (25cl)
Any drink tickets which the Group has not used, can be returned to the Groups Department. The Group leader can pay at Reception at the end of your stay.
These two options are an advantage for large Groups who do not sit together in the restaurant and for Groups who are looking for economic solutions.
Nevertheless the Group leaders can still obtain an internal credit card to charge all drinks consumptions and pay the total amount at reception at the end of your stay.
CONFERENCE CENTRE
If your Group has one of the conference rooms booked and wishes to have it set up in a specific way, this should be asked for before arrival through the agency.
You will receive the key to the conference centre you booked and can keep this key throughout your entire stay unless Groups Department asks you to hand it in.
If your Group needs projectors, white boards etc, these should also be pre booked through the agency. You will have to return the projector to Groups Department immediately after use.
We can also offer conference services, such as coffee, water, fruit etc. to be served during the Group’s meetings in the conference area; this should also be pre booked through the agency indicating dates and times.
ENTERTAINMENT
There are lots of exciting things to do at Club La Santa, below is a selection of our evening entertainment and some of the things you may wish to get involved in:
Club La Santa Stars – On Wednesday evening at 20.30 we have our “Club La Santa Stars Show”. This is where the guests perform. If you would like to perform your own number in this show, a reservation should be made at Sports Booking before closing on Tuesday 19.00 for a rehearsal slot on Wednesday morning between 11.00 and 13.00 with the Entertainment Manager.
This is a great opportunity for Groups, schools and teams to bond together doing something fun. You can perform a team song, dance or maybe a comedy sketch; anything is possible (as long as you remember it is for a family audience!). We would suggest planning and rehearsing before the trip if possible, and bring along any music, props and costumes you might need.
For children aged between 3 and 12 they can come to the square at 14.00 and rehearse together with the Green Team to perform set numbers with the other children in the show.
Karaoke – Upstairs in the Disco – from 22.30 on Wednesday and Friday. Wednesday is “for all” and Friday is “adults only.”
Disco – This is open every evening except Sunday. The disco is strictly aged 18 and over. Except for Tuesdays where we have a Children’s Disco 19.30-21.00 and Teenagers Disco 21.30-23.00.
Live Music – In the winter season this is in the square 21.00-22.30 and in the summer time this is outside the disco 22.00-23.30. Thursdays is piano and Saturdays is guitar music.
Professional Acts – We have professional performers in the square on Tuesday and Sunday evenings, commencing 21.00.
Green Team Show – The famous Green Team Show, where the sports and leisure staff from the complex perform for the guests – come along and cheer on your favourites. The show starts 21.00 on Monday evenings.
If you are a large Group it may be possible to arrange other entertainment, by request in advance via the Groups Department.
